Lead Pastor
Tyler and his wife Kimberly moved to the Raleigh area in 1997 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at North Carolina State five years before starting Vintage21. After much prayer and guidance, they felt God’s call to begin a church in downtown Raleigh. Vintage21 began in the Fall of 2002 with a small group of people, and currently has over 1200 people every Sunday. He holds the position of Southeast Regional Director for the Acts29 church planting network. Tyler also is the founder of Advance the Church, a cooperative nondenominational movement to assist in the planting and revitalization of local churches.

Executive Pastor
Nate & his wife Morgan came to Vintage21 in 2005. Upon their arrival they quickly discovered that Vintage21 was a church on a mission to protect and push the Gospel. Nate’s heart for the local church, his dedication to protecting its health, and his belief that it exists as the tool that Christ set up to bring redemption to humanity have been developed and honed through various life experiences. Nate longs for Vintage21 to be a healthy body of believers who are on mission in Raleigh, North Carolina & the world. In his free time Nate enjoys photography, hockey, but most importantly spending time with Morgan and their two sons, Battle & Knox.

West Campus Pastor
Having played in bands growing up, Matt’s love for music brought him to the thriving music scene of the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area in 2000. Since 2002 he has served as Worship Pastor with the goal of leading worship in a way that honors God and welcomes people into His presence. Several years in Matt began training band leaders and raising up multiple bands to lead worship on Sundays. He is currently serving as Campus Pastor at the Raleigh West campus, where his desire to see people worship God continues. Matt and his wife Christin have two girls, Molly Corin and Hazel. When not spending time with his family or serving at Vintage21 Church, he enjoys reading, playing and listening to music, and driving his old truck around town.

East Campus Pastor
Taylor and his wife Claire have called Raleigh home for over a decade. God led them to Vintage21 seven years ago, and they have been amazed to watch God grow His church in the Triangle. After leading a Community Group with Claire, Taylor was asked to take over leadership of the Community Groups ministry at the church as part of his training to become an elder. Some time later, he began working as the Community Groups pastor. He is currently a campus pastor at the Raleigh East campus, where his responsibilities also include leading musical worship from week to week at the Sunday services. Taylor is married to his best friend ever, Claire, and he loves being dad to his two kids, Tav and Emory.

Executive Assistant
God brought Candace to Raleigh for what she thought would be four years as a Wolf-Pack proud student, but after plugging into the local church and growing in gospel-centered community, her heart for this city grew into a conviction to labor and plant roots here. She is beyond grateful to watch God’s beautiful redemptive work in Raleigh, and is excited for what is to come. In her free time, Candace loves sitting around bonfires with her community group, sipping on vanilla lattes, having arts and crafts days, going to concerts, being goofy, playing outside, eating Goodberry’s ice-cream, and going on dates with her husband Kyle.

Media Arts Director
Steven feels blessed to oversee Vintage’s use of art and design to aid in the communication of the gospel. Steven, his wife Carrie, and their five beautiful children (Savannah, Jacob, Michael, Zachary and Isabella) have called the Raleigh area home for only two short years. Immediately upon their arrival in August 2009, God drew them to attend and become deeply rooted in the Vintage community. Since then, they have witnessed their lives and the lives of their family become radically transformed as they develop a deeper love for Christ, a passion for their church, and a heart for their city!

After serving with v21Kids and as an intern, Brodie came on staff in the fall of 2011. When he’s not tweeting, you can find him reading, taking photos, traveling somewhere, or eating tofu.

Production Director
Thomas grew up in Raleigh, but moved to Harrisonburg, VA for seven years. While up there he made some extremely significant milestones. In chronological order, he started his career in event production, he dedicated his life to Jesus, completed a college degree, and met his wife Sarah. Now four years later, he splits his time between coordinating technical productions for Vintage and working as a freelance tech for a variety of concerts, special events, and meetings. In his spare time Thomas enjoys hanging out with his wife and family, cooking and enjoying food, tasting snobby beer, and wrestling with his doberman puppy.

Communications Director
Rachel’s journey to Raleigh and Vintage21 started with a book about jazz, wound through the green hilly places of the Northwest, paused at Mars Hill, and ended with a 30-minute phone conversation that convinced her to move. Now, five years later, she is thankful to call Southeast Raleigh home and the authentic and life-giving gospel community at Vintage21 her family. Rachel loves people, conversation, and finding new ways to reflect the beauty of the gospel and remove the barriers that keep people from connecting with Christ. Any given day, you can likely find her riding her bike around town, engaging a neighbor or friend in lively conversation, playing a competitive sport, or trying to tame her scraggly grass with a rotary mower. She also fills the important role of in-office environmental recycling consultant.

Finance Director
After months of prayer, Roger and his wife Angie moved for work to Raleigh in December 2006 away from family and friends. Once in Raleigh they found a church home and community with Vintage21 Church, where they began leading a Community Group and serving in the Cafe. They grew with the church and when there was an opening in the field of finance Roger jumped at the chance to work full-time as the Director of Finance. They have since had a son Zane and can’t wait to see what God’s plan is going forward.

Church Administrator
Robyn adores Raleigh and feels at home at Vintage21. She often pinches herself because she can’t believe that the opportunity she’s been given, to labor hard for the gospel in the city that she loves, is real! Robyn’s personality radiates whether she is exploring yard sales, experimenting with new food, hosting folks at her home, the Happy House, or marching around in her favorite yellow shoes.
