Students

Reverb was started to provide a place for students (6th – 12th grade) to meet friends and find mentors who push them to know the gospel, live in shared community with each other, and build the kingdom of God.

Reverb meets on Thursday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 in the lobby of the main building at 117 S. West St in downtown Raleigh!

We have three main goals:

1) KNOW: That students would make much of Jesus with their life. We desire to present the gospel in a current and real way to each student. Students need to understand and know who Jesus is. Without hiding or disregarding hard truths, we want to show students that Jesus loves them and they are created to have a relationship with Him.

2) LIVE: That students would invest in their community. Community with God, their family, and their church. We want to create a place where students see and worship Jesus in every aspect of their lives. We want to teach that Christ creates community for them to be active in. That their families are the primary placed God created community for them to be involved in. As well as being of value in the church, feel welcomed and become members of the body.

3) BUILD: That students would invite their friends to join the community. Understanding that the gospel is the good news that Jesus has graciously given to them, the students would feel compelled to share this good news with their peers. By growing not only from the inside but by reaching out to other non-believing members of their social community.
