Journey Classes: The objective of our Journey classes is to help God seekers, God followers, and God doubters in the church body to unify and mature their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ through the study and discussion of Scripture and other resources. Journey classes are designed to meet people where they are in their journey of life, whether or not they have a personal belief in the redeeming power of Christ. In order to present an honest look at the God of the Bible, a variety of classes are offered to cultivate spiritual renewal and deeper following.
For instance, the Gospel Class provides in-depth examinations of who God is and his relation to us from the beginning of human history, through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to the call of the local church today. Other classes are intended to instruct followers on how to live an honoring life as a man or woman of God, from building into the lives of others, to biblical marriage, to Godly parenting. Still others deal with cultural and postmodern issues using book studies of both Christ-following and Christ-doubting ideas.
