Quote from Jillian: "Have you looked at these Christians closely? Hollow-eyed, pale-cheeked…they brood their lives away, unspurred by ambition: the sun shines for them, but they do not see it: the earth offers them its fullness, but they desire it not; all their desire is to renounce and to suffer that they may come to die."

Reflection Questions

  1. What will you do with your life, with the 40 years God gave you to fight, create, and redeem for His Kingdom? How are you giving "glory" to God with your life?
  2. True purity brings the blessings of God into your life and when this happens, the world will be amazed by it's beauty. Are you living like the "salt of the earth?" Do you bring flavor and preservation to the world? The way you live your life will either attract people to Christ or rebel people from Him.
  3. Light is meant to be seen. That is why Christ calls us to live lives that are worthy to be watched. Does your life reflect the life of Christ? Is it a life that leaves the world amazed at how you love your city?
