A Light in the Alley 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
Listen to Audio

What does Paul mean when he writes that he becomes "all things to all men"? Are followers of Christ supposed to devote part of their life to others- a hobby, a few hours a week, a couple of dollars here and there? At Vintage21, we are constantly struck by the fact that Christ died for us, thus He gets everything. Paul's writing this week paints a clear picture of how this is played out. Listen as Pastor Tyler Jones preaches about this key verse in the DNA of Vintage21 Church.

Genesis 3:6 She took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

  1. God sent 1 man
  2. God sent a Nation
  3. God sent Himself
  4. God sends us

Isaiah 49:6 “It is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Questions for Reflection

  1. What are you doing with your life? Not many followers are called to full-time ministry as a profession. However, all followers are part of the plan to redeem the world--so what are you doing with your life?

  2. What will it cost you to love others? What are we willing to give up?

  3. Will you pray that the Lord would give us more radical people? Pray that He will make you one.
