Reflection Questions:
So often, we get caught in the “form and function†of worship and not the direction of the heart. God does not care about the clothes you wear in worship and He does not care where worship occurs. Is reverence important? Absolutely, but it must be reverence of the heart. Do you worship God with all of your heart? Spend some time asking God for forgiveness when you have not and for grace to do so in the future.
When unspeakably powerful powerful beings, numbering in the billions, immediately fall down and worship, what does that mean about the object of their worship? What does it mean for you?
When a created thing does/lives what it was created to do, it worships God. You were created in the image of God so that you could know God. What will it mean for you to love God? What will it mean for you to pursue Him as young men and women. What will it mean for you to pursue Him as old men and women. How will we praise our great God?
