Questions for Reflection:
We would rather look in the mirror and point out the window than claim our own foolishness. If we are honest, we all live out folly everyday. The book of Proverbs speaks of 3 types of fools, use the questions below to begin to identify your foolishness:
The Simple fool: a) Am I addicted to other’s approval? b) Am I easily lead astray? c) Am I constantly looking to escape the boredom of my life?
The Convinced fool: a) How would you friends describe you? b) Have you looked at your life and pointed out your folly? c) Who hits you in the mouth and then loves you enough to walk with you?
The Vindictive fool: a) Do you blow-up at people? b) Do you use people as a tool to further your agenda?
We all lean to folly (Proverbs 22:15), so how did you get that way? More importantly, what can you do not to be this way anymore? Spend time reading I Corinthians 1:18-31.
