V21 Kids

We believe that God created each child to know him, enjoy him, and fulfill his or her calling to build the local church. We believe the same is also true for each child’s parents/guardians. At our Sunday morning services we have V21 Kids to provide a safe, loving, engaging place for kids while parents participate & invest in communal worship, and to involve children in communal worship with their peers & godly men & women.

V21 Kids occurs at our 9:30 & 11:30 services (not the 6:00 service) and is for all children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade. We have 4 age groups:

Infants (6 weeks to crawling)

Toddlers (walking to 2-years)

Preschoolers (3-years to 4-years)

Elementary (Kindergarten to 5th grade)

In V21 Kids children experience Biblical stories & discussions, prayer, and positive playtime. We desire for families to learn together, hence all V21 Kids curriculum material is produced within our community and coincides with the current sermon series.

In our time with your children we desire to love your kids & engage them in positive relationships with adults who model gospel-centered living. We also seek to discuss & display with our lives healthy spiritual habits that are in response to a heart’s understanding & acceptance of its Creator. We will explore the reality that:

• I can pray to God because he hears my prayer and he shapes my heart through prayer.

• I can read the Bible because it is God’s word for me. God wants me to know about myself & the world around me & he tells me about them in the Bible.

• I can worship God for many reasons; in fact, worship is the only appropriate response to God’s greatness. I can worship God in many ways like prayer, singing, dancing, loving others, & obeying my parents.

All V21 Kids volunteers have been screened - interviewed, trained, & tested. For more information on the screening, training, & expectations of volunteers or V21 Kids in general please send inquiries to Erika Lizotte, Director of V21 Families, erika.lizotte@vintage21.com.
